“Advocating for you, your profession, and those you serve”
Please join us for a special CEU event organized by the RISHA Medical Committee on Monday, October 28, 2019 at the Warwick Public Library, 600 Sandy Lane.
We welcome Sharon Frank, M.A., CCC-SLP as our Fall Continuing Education presenter. Sharon will be presenting a holistic approach to managing Exercise-Induced Paradoxical Vocal Fold Motion (EI-PVFM). EI-PVFM is an upper airway disorder that occurs in some athletes which is often misdiagnosed as Exercise Induced Asthma (EIA).
Registration will begin at 5:30 pm with Sharon’s presentation from 6:00-8:00 pm. Pizza and water will be served.
This event will be available for 0.2 ASHA CEUs at no cost to RISHA members who have paid their annual ASHA CE Registry fee. In order to have adequate seating and CEU registration materials available, please RSVP by October 18th to Dora Arsenault, Office Manager at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Please share this information with your SLP friends and colleagues. If you are not a RISHA member, please visit our website at risha.info prior to the event in order to receive the free CEUs. We look forward to seeing you on October 28th!
