Description: Promising interventions like drugs and brain stimulation have generated enthusiasm for improving language function in post-stroke aphasia and Primary Progressive Aphasia (PPA), but have not yet achieved routine use. This webinar will examine the possible mechanisms by which such interventions might restore language abilities, and describe research to determine the effectiveness of interventions at engaging these mechanisms.
