This two-day continuing education program is designed to provide participants with a comprehensive overview of major categories of acquired brain injury (ABI), including neoplastic, traumatic, vascular, metabolic and infectious disorders of the central nervous system. Epidemiology, factors affecting outcome, and the potential long-term consequences, focusing on neurobehavioral, neurocognitive and sensorimotor sequelae, will be reviewed.
