$10 for Non-members including a year membership to MSHA!

This event is open to all students in Communication Disorders programs. Second year graduate students are especially encouraged to attend.

Learner Outcomes:

  1. Understand process and requirements for completing ASHA CF and state licensure
  2. Understand basic functions of SLP in healthcare and school settings
  3. Navigate job search and interview process for CF positions
Other Information:
Dress is business casual for this event.
Refreshments will be provided. Lunch is on your own.
Special thanks to our host, Northeastern University

The event will cover information valuable to graduate CSD students especially 2nd years who are preparing for their Clinical Fellowship experience. It will include information about licensure and certification, resumes, interviewing, how to find a great CF position, benefits, professionalism and practice settings from working clinicians. We encourage participants to come with questions.

Getting There:
By “T”: Northeastern can be reached by subway via the Green Line of the MBTA. From downtown Boston, take an “E” train outbound to the Northeastern stop, the first stop above ground. The campus can also be reached from downtown via the Orange Line by taking any train going outbound to Forest Hills and getting off at Ruggles Station. Commuter rail lines connect with the Orange Line at Ruggles Station, Back Bay Station, and North Station.
