MSHA Scholarship and Award Information
Massachusetts Speech-Language Hearing Association (MSHA) offers the following scholarship and award opportunities:

Graduate Student Scholarship - Awarded to one graduate student in Speech Language Pathology or Audiology each fall.

Early Career Professional Award - Funding award to advance research or practice for a professional 30 years of age or less OR who is within the first 5 years of their profession in audiology or speech-language pathology.

State Clinical Achievement Award - An award by The American Speech-Language- Hearing Foundation (ASHFoundation), who asks each state association to select one person from within the state to receive an award for demonstrated contributions to the advancement of knowledge in clinical practice in audiology or speech-language pathology within the last six years.

The recipient of this award is moved forward in nomination for ASHFoundation’s Louis M. DiCarlo Award, which recognizes a recipient—chosen from each year’s group of State Clinical Achievement Award recipients—who has worked toward advancing knowledge in clinical practice, as evidenced by a significant accomplishment within the past six years in audiology and/or speech-language pathology.
